... also not enemy of Americans. Those who would know the history should remember at least the Korean War. We have cared the border against to cominist still. I wonder if they were aware of 8dust !
I was a member of VDH, 8dust irony expressions used to humiliate my country Of course I would respond to him. In other men attended me after ...

Wow! I don't come over here to SB very often because it doesn't seem like there is much activity in this forum, so imagine my surprise… to find myself individually singled out by someone I've addressed only twice, which was apparently more than enough to create an international incident….

I'm only re-addressing it here, a year later, because I only just saw this, and IT GENUINELY BOTHERS ME that someone would be so incredibly offended by something I intended ENTIRELY AS A COMPLEMENT…

Trapezus, the only thing I ever said to you was hello, and that it was nice meeting a vintage scuba equipment enthusiast from Turkey because: 1) I really enjoy meeting new people across the globe with similar interests, and 2) I was very fortunate to travel to your country years ago and have extremely fond memories of the trip, which I am reminded of daily when I admire a wonderful carpet we purchased in Istanbul… How any of that went through Google Translate or whatever you are using, and became something which so inflamed you, I cannot possibly imagine. Korean War? Communists? Humiliate your countrymen??? WHAT????????? Near as I can tell, you Turks are very proud of your carpets and your coffee, both of which I love. My visits to the many historic sites of Istanbul were also fantastic. Sadly, my experience with your culture does not extend beyond that, but it's not because I wouldn't like it to. You say "your English is not good," well, it's better than my Turkish or anything else I could manage, so I really REALLY hope it's good enough to get my point across.

Last try = 8dust loves Turkey! Turkey good. 8dust loves vintage equipment diving! Vintage Equipment Diving good. 8dust go vintage equipment diving in Turkey someday, maybe even with Trapezus, GREAT!!!

Good health and calm seas, 8dust

Hydroglove

from Home fb page

Rob and Jim Bach.. The first dive of the year Jan 1st 2015. The air temp was about 32 degrees or 0 Celsius. The water was a warn 43 degrees or 6 degrees CelsiusMy hydroglove drysuit had a tear in the ankle so I had to use a borrowed modern Viking drysuit, bummer.
I was in the water for about one hour with a max depth of only about 40 feet or about 12 metres.
It was a good day with lots of sun and lots of wind.
The Voit single stage Lung performed admirably as always coupled with my Rene triple tanks and cotton harness.
I expect my next dive to be in sunny Bonaire in Feb.

Hi Trapezus,

Can I ask what is the PSI stamped on your Rene triple tanks ?

Thanking you in advance,

Bill

Sorry, I read " Rene triple tanks " so I thought they were US Divers tanks.

Thanks again.
