You will really enjoy Sepilok Lodge. It is gorgeous! They have wonderful orchid gardens, but watch out for the leeches. I fed one really well and bled like a stuck pig when I removed it. The orangs were a great experience. Go for a night walk there too.

You will, no doubt, make two dives in Sipidan in the morning, followed by a local dive in the afternoon. At Borneo Divers, where I stayed, it was a little difficult to get included in one of the night dives. I was the only night diver in my group, and you had to ask permission to join other groups. Otherwise, the nicest resort on Mabul. Moderately priced and seemed much friendlier that SMART Resort. We went there for a couple of drinks and got the major cold shoulder. Borneo Divers is not as old and the landscaping is not as mature/pretty. However, the employees are very well treated by the owners and, as a result, their happiness is very evident.

The 1,4 at the end of entry gives you the days (Frequency) of the flights starting from 1, monday.
If you do all your traveling around before you go diving you won't be hit by the 24 hour no fly rules.

Good luck with the trip planning and write up a report.

mslise,

was this the sepilok jungle lodge or the sepolok nature lodge?

Victor,

I do not think that there will be a problem as we would be able to dive in the AM on the 31st and our flight out is 645 pm on the 1st .. was offered quite a package this Am by your contact, chooitan. he/ she wants to send us up to the Sakau Lodge... we are still deciding.

thanks for your comments and advise!
