I'll be staying with the family at La Cabana in Aruba. I'm thinking of diving with JADS. Two questions: How long to drive down there with them? When do you return from a 2 tank morning dive?

The drive to JADS from La Cabana runs you around a scenic 30 minute drive give or take depending on the traffic. You'll be entertained with a complete island tour on your way and learn lots of interesting facts you other wise might miss out on. Of course if you have your own gear and will be diving the boat you will only make the trip to JADS your first day. The rest of the days they will accomodate you and let you sleep in and drive you direct to the boat (around a 15 minute trip).
A 2-tank boat dive depending on: location, weather, air consumption...) will have you back at your hotel by 1:30 or so.
If you are planning on booking with JADS do remember that by offering the personlized dive schedule the way they do fills them up fast.

After Baby Beach, continue a bit further East to what we call "Pet Cemetery". It is an incredible area in a protected cove that most folks don't venture to. Just watch the current the farther out from Baby Beach you go, but just around the bend, paradise! When you walk onto the shore, you will see why it is called Pet Cemetery.
