not sure if this is in the right spot or not but I'm sure the mods will move it to the proper place if need be. Any how this is my question. I have a hard time with my ears after a dive. They are always full Not with water in the outer canal but with blood and fluid in the inner ear. So the question is am I not blowing hard enough to equalize my ears and I'm always getting barotrauma everytime or am I blowing to hard? I have done the ear clearing on the surface and right at the point before descending. should I hear a squeek like when clearing or not that is what I hear if I blow gently then descend until I start to feel some pressure on my eardrum then I have to blow a little harder then that is when the squeek type of clearing is heard. I have tried swallowing, blowing and swallowing and nothing seems to prevent me from getting this fullness in my inner ears after every single dive. Yes to the person that always post the watch this video post by dr. Kay I have already watched it several times. I cant get my ears to clear at all with his move adams apple up and down method. I have even tried equalizing on every other breath to try and keep the pressure in the ears to keep the pressure the same. I need help it is really preventing me from diving as much as I like since the deafness after every dive that last for days to weeks afterwards.
