How good is Larry's Wild Side?

Is the diving with Larry's Wild Side worth the money? Please let me know about your experience diving with Larry's Wild Side.

Some friends and I dove with Larry last year. For me at least, it's one of those, done it once, that's enough kind of things. I don't regret doing it, it was fun and worth the money..... once. If someone wanted to do it again I would go with them but just to do it again for myself, no.

it is different than the shore diving you'd be doing for the rest of the week - more chance to see big stuff. The time I went, we weren't lucky with sightings - one big ray lying way down deep and a single friendly turtle.....but saying that, if we'd seen a couple of eagle rays I'd be raving about it......

I'll probably do it again next time I'm in Bonaire (I think it's about $100 for a 2 tank trip with Larry)

No real shore diving next to it, but after a spot of lunch at one of the adjacent windsurf clubs, you can just continue around the bottom end of the island and see a couple of dive sites near to the lighthouse and slave huts.....be careful if there are lots of Kite boarders around though.

Larry is great and his Zodiac is one hell of boat..but there are so many sites that are shore accessible! More money for Brights!!

Ok Walter, you have me confused. You serious or am I missing a joke?
It's a fun boat ride on a huge rubber inflatable. Nice dives but IMO not worth the $100 more than once.

Thanks for this information, we were thinking of doing a charter with Larry, but it sounds like we won't miss anything if we save our money.

Spend it at the Town Pier instead or the Salt Pier, I don't think you will be dissapointed.
