I don't know about a magnaflux test, but I have heard of using an "Eddy Current" test for scuba cylinders to detect cracks.
Maybe someone could enlighten us on when this test is used, how it works and how much it costs?
It is used to detect cracks in the neck of the tank during a VIP and is of no use at all in other areas of the tank.
