Yes, I'm in Chicago, but I;m trying to get to the wrecks to the north and east. There are so many friggin wrecks out here- when am I gonna find the time to dive them all?

I was on the Straits one day and some friends on the morning charter told me the water temp was 66 top to bottom. I didn't believe it could be that warm, so I put on all the drysuit undergarments. Wow, I sweat my **** off, but didn't realize it until later. That was also the dive that the engines wouldn't start and we got a chance to meet the coast guard, up close and personal.

DIE, I want to see some freshwater wrecks too, want to organise something for August/September?
The thought has crossed my mind- maybe a SB member charter. I'll have to check my calendar.

I am positive we could get enough people from SB to fill out a charter boat. We just need someone that knows what they are doing to organise it.

:11: What fun is no salt?

Perfectly preserved wrecks always sound awesome to me, because as you know saltwater and wrecks aren't exactly the best of friends and they fight alot and over time saltwater wins.

Yeah, that's the hard part! There are a few charters out here that will hold 6-14 divers, so we can choose the right size for the group.

I am not volunteering him, but I think Puff has a pretty good idea about the diving up here, maybe if we asked him he'd be able to help with the organisation of it.
