How does DIR recommend attaching

Haha. I have pretty special friends. Get them out into the wilderness without anyone else for miles... and their inhibitions disappear. The one on the right is getting married in a month. To a female :)

Another way is to loop a tank valve o-ring through a SS clip, take the head off of the SPG, and slide the o-ring and clip to the desired point. Liquid soap helps with the sliding part.

Check DiveRite's web site for diagrams.

That would be a "No-Go". O-ring connections aren't DIR, not even for the once popular Primary reg bolt-snap. I had to remove mine in a recent Tech 1 class.

What is the method "in grace" now?
I have my primary clip held on by a folded o-ring and works well. But if there is a better way....

I use two zip ties, works great :)

I think I'll zip tie a shovel to my harness next time I'm out.. and I'll leave my old lady's number with someone so they can give it out on rec.scuba. There's only one way to comfort a widow... :wink:
