I am finishing up my 3rd season and my home grown mate will be leaving to "walk the earth". It is my son, who I sent to Roatan to do a DM internship. I don't begrudge him for wanting to do bigger and better things, he is 22 years old. So next summer I will be looking for a full time DM/Mate for June, July and August. I can get buy in the spring and fall with back up mates.

I am not sure how to go about finding the right person. A college kid (upper class man) would be good, if (and only if) they had the diving skills to do 4 bounces a day to tie in and untie.

I am just interested to hear how you guys find your mates?

Look at your regular customers. That's where I came from.

Tony Bach
