I tried searching this, but to no avail. Maybe I'm not searching the right thing...

I was just curious how you carry your weights from place to place?

When traveling by plane to a dive site I leave them at home.

When traveling by car I leave the weights on the belt and on the BC (both top cam strap and drop pockets) and put all the weights into a separate, small, mesh, tough carry bag (made my Mountain Equipment Co-op in Canada).

If I'm understanding your question:

I carry my weight belt at the bottom of the large plastic bin in the back of my truck that holds all of my other dive gear on the way to the beach... then on my waist for the 50-75 yard hike over the lava to the water :D It is easier to walk with your weights and scuba gear on, rather than trying to carry the heavy gear down to the water.

If you are talking about vacation travel, leave the weights home, and rent weights at your destination.

Best wishes.

I have akona weight bags....they stay in there until they go into my BC at the dive site

On my back. I use a ~6 lb. SS plate, and thats all the weight I need.

all on my weight belt---where they're supposed to be...........

makes for a neat little way, :)

Small heavy duty mesh weight bag.

Mostly just use SS BP for weight, sometimes a couple of small weights in cam band trim pockets

When I occasionally dive colder waters, I use Halcyon ACB weight pockets on my waist harness
