The picture resides on my hard drive and don't know how to embed it into a post :)

Go down near the bottom of a page when you are posting. You will see the manage attachments button.
Follow the directions there to add a picture from your hard drive or from a url.
I did it here just to make sure I had the right steps.

Thanks, they both worked :)

If you want to embed instead of attach (so it's full size not small)

You would have to sign up for photo sharing website. I use Image hosting, free photo sharing & video sharing at Photobucket, but there is also flicka, picasa, etc. Upload the image to whatever photosharing website you are using. The image will appear with 4 lines of code underneath. The last one will say "Img code". You highlight whatever is in that box, copy it, then paste it into the Private Message or post.

There is a way to resize it on photobucket in case it is a giant picture...PM DandyDon if you have questions about resizing it, he has a screenshot of a setting that will limit the size...it's hard for me to explain so seeing the picture would be best.

There are more directions for embedding and attaching in the Sticky in the Underwater Photography area - you can follow the Pink Link in my signature for step by step directions and lots more useful uw photo related information.

Can't wait to see some images!
