How are Cozumel Dive Ops about age/depth limit restrictions?

We are in the process of finalizing our booking plans, we'll be staying in Paradise condos near the Money Bar where many dive boats pick up, and we'll probably dive with Aldora who we've used before. In response to my email question about diving depths and limitations Matt's from Aldora's response was that my GF's son- who will be 13 not 14 (sorry my mistake) is limited to 60 ft. He didn't say anything about extending those limits with a private DM.

I know most of the good stuff is shallower but my 3 favorite dives were Palancar Caves, Gardens and Horseshoe and I'd like to see those again and they're between 80-90 ft.
 
We did Palancar Gardens and Horseshoe with my 13 year old a few weeks back and kept it very close to 60'.

Yes, according to Matt from Aldora my GF's son can dive with us on those deeper dives he's just gotta stay shallow and we should (or must?) pay $60 for a private DM to stay with him during the dive.
