Anyone know what conditions are like in Bonaire in the following month or so? I have time to do one dive trip before school starts in the middle of sept and I'd like to go somewhere affordable with splendid diving. I'm a bit spoiled right now, just got back from doing a month in malaysia, indonesia and philippines. Other suggestions would be appreciated but after paying 50 bucks a day for unlimited diving and my personal DM I don't think I'll be too keen to pay Cozumel prices, that is why I fancy the shore diving of Bonaire.

There really is no bad time on Bonaire. The conditions are more or less the same all year long other than an occasional wind reversal in Aug/Sept. The typical cost for 6 days of unlimited air for shore diving is in the $110 range. For the cost of an airline ticket I would be happy to serve as your personal DM :)
