Boy...only one week old and that DIRF is paying for itself already. It was really fun watching the other divers get beat to heck on the hang bar last weekend while my buddy and I were hovering at our stops about 10' away.. :D

Although, NC seas were a bit snotty and we got beat up pretty bad on the way back in...

Should of been with me last weekend, you would have looked like superman speeding over the reef if you tried hovering in the 4 knt currents in Fla. I now know what a flag feels like. hehehe Got to get together soon so you can impress me with your new fangled DIR stuff...the DM on the boat did teach us some Fla DIR stuff...Doing It Redneck that is.

Good point...if the current is really ripping I would have had to use a full-on flutter to hold position...guess the old jonline isn't ready for the trash yet, eh?

How were the dives? We did a couple that you may have hit on your many ventures out...the Cassimir, 28 Mile Ledge, and the Hyde. We saw a nice 6-7 foot Sand Tiger cruising the wreck of the Hyde. Do all you NC guys spearfish? I didn't know whether to run from the shark or all the guys with big pointy things in the water...

When we doing that beach house trip? I gotta show you a couple things ;)
