Hi, I have a general question about the storage of my housing, ports, other accessories for a longer term period (6+ months or so). I keep my Ikelite stuff in a sealed Storm iM2500 case. Can I then store my gear in a garage or basement w/o any effects of heat or humidity on the housing or other Ikelite components. All orings are stored lubricated and in ziplock bags already. My DS125 battery module is also stored along with the balance of my gear.
Thanks for your help!

You definitely want to store everything out of direct sunlight and in a fairly cool environment. We have seen random instances of crazing or even cracking in clear plastics when stored sealed in a suitcase for long periods of time. This appears to be related to the "out-gassing" of suitcase foam, though we haven't been able to narrow it down to a specific manufacturer or type of foam. I would probably recommend leaving the suitcase open so that the gas does not stay trapped inside of the waterproof case.
