Hello:

I am in the process of planning a trip for our dive group in September 2011 and I am considering Bonaire as one of the destinations. I am looking for a house that would accommodate 8 to 10 divers. Ideally, the house would be located close to a good dive ops with easy access to tanks such as wannadive, and either have a pool or be oceanfront (but these are not mandatory).

Any suggestions appreciated.

Thanks

Three that I just recently posted in another thread:

Vacation villa Beaurang Residence Bonaire
In Kralendijk so I don't know if there's shorediving on-site. Someone I know slightly stayed there, said it was nice.

These two are from VRBO, I know nothing about either. The 2nd one mentions being setup for divers.

Belnem vacation rental by owner: 5 bedroom Villa rental that sleeps 10. Luxurious Oceanfront Villa
Hato vacation rental by owner: 5 bedroom Villa rental that sleeps 10. Seafront Villa with Beautiful Tropical Garden up to 10 Persons

Thanks all for the suggestions and advice, very useful. The Sunset Villa and Hamlet Villa #10 look like they would meet our needs. Anyone has stayed in either of them and could provide a review? How the reef there?

Thanks

I have not been in Sunset Villa, but have been in the Hamlet Villa #10. It is nice, and is actually right on the water. It is located in Hamlet Resort, which is right next to Captain Don's Habitat so it is the same reef as Bari Reef, the house Reef is called the Cliff. For a group that large I think you would enjoy it!

Thanks Liz. It indeed sounds perfect for our group. I have put the trip proposal for endorsement by the board. Now I just have to hope that it is approved. :)
