hi all. sorry if this has been beaten to death here but we are possibly booking a 10 night stay in nov at hotel coz and resort this year. trying to verify if shore diving is included with our stay. we have been told by several people that unlimited shore diving is included with a stay there if you book your boat dives with dive paradise. but i am not sure if this is a standard deal or if this was part of a group deal. can anyone verify whether it is included or not. i have gone to the hotels web site and to dive paradise web site and see no mention of shore diving other then that you get one "check out dive".
also.....can you tell me how far of a walk it is to the ferry pier from the hotel ? i am thinking like 10 - 15 minutes ??
thx
rick
i did send a message to the hotel but am not really expecting a very quick response. perhaps i will be pleasantly surprised. haha

In the past its been one free tank for a checkout dive. Then you can rent a tank for $6 anytime they are open. We have done night dives and plenty of shore dives there. Julian and Angel are great and will take good care of you. 25 days to go for me.

Yeah, I've heard that unlimited thing before as well with Dive Paradise packages in the past, but truly, after one checkout dive, I've pretty much been done so never really tested that out. It's OK but nothing special.... very shallow and rather barren. Good spot to check your gear. If you are earnest about critter searching, you'll find some things. The pier is at the hotel at their beach club. There is a tunnel that goes under the road connecting the hotel to the beach club. Couple minutes by foot. Very convenient.

If you are referring to the ferry that goes across the channel to Playa, that is about a 20 minute walk north of the hotel. Not too bad with a little planning. Cheers
