Scuba diving travelers visiting the island of Cozumel can now benefit from a new arrangement between Hotel Casa Del Mar and Cozumel Marine World. The new working relationship, formally announced to the scuba diving industry at the recent DEMA Trade Show in Las Vegas, is designed to provide improved scuba diving and watersports experience for guests staying at Casa Del Mar, one of the most popular resorts frequented by divers visiting Cozumel.
Hotel Casa Del Mar will continue to also offer scuba diving opportunities through Dive House upon guest request.
In making the announcement, an excited Sandra Arreguin, sales manager at Casa Del Mar said, We are committed to customer service and being able to work with Jorge Marin and Alex Vina at Cozumel Marine World adds a new level of diving opportunities for our guests. Divers have come to expect a quality experience when they visit Casa Del Mar weve now taken that to a completely new level.
Marin has been diving in Cozumel for more than 30 years and the last 5 years operating Cozumel Marine World. His in-depth knowledge of the waters around Cozumel is well-established. Casa Del Mar guests will be treated to a variety of special experiences when diving with Jorge and Alex, including extended bottom times, smaller groups and frequent trips to the many secret spots that Jorge and his team have found over the last three decades.
Both Alex and Marin could hardly contain their excitement talking about the upcoming launch of the new dive boat, the 40-ft vessel can accommodate up to 27 divers and provides longer ranges and diving options. The new vessel is expected to be up and running by January 2013 and their 42-ft vessel already in service for up to 22 divers, photographers favorite boat was launched just after DEMA.
