Hot Shot Fin Issue

My wife and I use Hot Shots for travel. We have 2 pairs, out of warranty. On one fin, the softer blue material is separating from the firmer grey material starting at the tip if the fin. Any suggestions from AL as to how to remedy this?

It's now a split fin... you'll need to pay more for it.

If AL doesn't remedy the obvious manufacturing or design defect, drill small holes along both sides of the split and stitch it with zip-ties.
