but, if you do any lobster catching, the wrist mounted computer can take some abuse while you are coaxing the lobster to step into your catch bag.:ydevil:
I use both - air integrated and a wrist mount (both Aeris, so they have the same formulas). Why? I like the AI for pressure and PC interface, but like the ease of looking at my wrist (I always know where my wrist is). Also, if one fails, I have a backup.

I am a very poor example of a Herring-choker. I am 100% Norwegian by ethnic background and genetics, but I hate fish -- even lobster.
Therefore, I think I would much prefer to watch lobsters than to catch them!

If you're going for Gas Integration, than it is a slightly different story, due to the fact that Gas Integrated hoseless have differnt issues than the ones which are connected to the first stage through the hose.

I'll prefer the wrist mount.
On most occasions during surface intervals you will leave your whole dive-kit on the boat. Having it in a gauge also means it will be dangling near ground. Passer-by might accidentally step on it. Unless it's a detachable.

I like the hose air integrated because it gives me more accurate account of air left and also gives me rough air use calculations (as someone who sucks gas it's nice to see roughly how good or bad my gas sucking is).
I like the wrist mounted for the backup, and I can quickly glance at it for my wrist is easier to locate than a hose.
If I didn't have air integration I would just go for wrist.

I use a wrist mount in caves, but a console (end of hose) mount in open water.
