I have an Oxycheq wing and want to replace the hose. I'd like to get one of the oval shaped hoses. Recommendations on where to look for one of those? The two local shops nearest me deal pretty much just with jacket style BCDs and I don't know if they're interchangeable. Suggestions?

oval hoses... I think those are Dive Rite... Most of those inflater hoses and what not are all interchangeable on the wings. You can also go to Northeast Scuba Supply and just buy the corrugated hose. The actual inflater and joint are the expensive bits.

My Halcyon wing has an oval hose, so you can probably get a replacement hose through any Halcyon dealer.

I believe the dive rite hoses are oval because the wings include a pull dump integrated into the elbow where the hose attaches to the wing. Therefore I'm not sure if this hose would work. I have no idea why halcyon hoses are oval, but would probably work with an oxycheq wing.

Just out of curiosity, why oval? I've never had a problem with my oxycheq hoses and the fact that they are round helps when I want an innertube band wrapped around the wing inflator hose to secure the lp inflator hose.

I prefer my oval ones and none of mine have pull dumps... The tubing is flexible so with the clamp it'll stay on whatever inflater and elbow you put it on, and when I use the innertube to hold the inflater on, I've never had any problems with them being over...

If the ends fit on the elbows and the power inflators then it will work; oval or round corrugated hose shapes don't really matter that much. Some of my wings of oval corrugated hoses, some have rounds. None of the wings have pull dumps.

Exactly. I also like the deep grooves found on the halcyon hoses since I use a bungee rather than inner tube. sits nicely in the same place the who time.

I realize they will work but I need a new inflator anyway. Two birds....

I do not want a pull dump on my inflator hose. I have found tons of inflators on various retailer sites but not many hose/inflator combos that aren't basic round hose design.
