I bought a Zeagle Stiletto BC from a LDS and one of the bungee cords retracting the wing broke after two dives. I took it back to the LDS, (I won't mention the name, but it was a large S. Florida chain that gives Discounts to Divers.) The girl at the shop said she would order a replacement cord. I called in two weeks and found out the employee was no longer there and no record of the order was found. The guy I talked to said he would re-order. I called in two weeks, and no one knew anything about the order.
I sent a PM to Scott@Zeagle, he wrote back that he would send out a cord. I got it three days later.
Thanks for the great service. Hooray for Zeagle.

Zeagle is top-notch. Love my Brigade.

Good job Scott!

I haven't seen one screw up in a long while, but stuff happens.

DMdoogie,

Sorry to hear the store dropped the ball.

There's no excuse for that, except bad memory or poor business procedure.

I used to run into the same problem with my staff in my former store. They would tell a customer they'd order something, and then often forget.

The rub is they were not authorized to make orders, except by entering them as a sale, with a deposit if it was not a warranty issue. That way there is a record and management nows what is going on, and gets it ordered as it should. (For warranty items we could zero out the price.)

Either way it still went into the orders desk.

The good part of it is that you don't even need to contact Scott. Call Zeagle and tell them the problem and they will take care of it. It is always nice to have someone to contact but not need to get the service.

Hooray for Zeagle, and a "thank you" to the folks at Scubatoys for helping to solve a complex problem.

Zeagle is a fine company who mfgs a high quality product. Bought my wife one several years ago and it has performed flawlessly and the quality is outstanding. I dive a Dive Rite rig and had a small problem with a clip right after I bought it. DR sent a replacement overnight. They were outstanding to deal with as well.
