I've been diving for about 16 months, got my PADI cert. May of 2004, to date I have 21 dives in. I've dived in San Carlos and Himialya Bay, Mexico, Maui (I can't wait to go back), Lake Tahoe on the Neveda/California border and Lake Pleasant, just outside Peoria, Az. The deepest dive was probably Lake Tahoe, 98ft. (burrrr the 6.5 wasn't enough, but sure was pretty) that was at Rubicon Point on the westside of the lake, its suppose to be one of the best wall dives within the United States. My dive buddies and I have been diving Lake Pleasant like crazy lately. It seems they raised the height of the dam years ago, and when they did they didn't tear down the old buildings for the orignal Marina. The water vis. varies form 2ft to 15ft, thats what makes it so challenging try'in to find the buildings. We figure we've probably swam past the buildings at least 2 or 3 times. The Ranger working there is also a diver ( if you have some time, and he's not to busy, he has some neat slides of fish and some under water terrain, great clarity) he has been try'in to help us find the buildings, its been a blast. A year ago I would have panic, in 0 vis., I'm still not to crazy about it, but I stay calm. Well till next time, later, time to blow bubbles..................................
