Before I go off to order a custom neoprene hood, does anyone know if any manufacturer makes a 5mm neoprene hood (preferably no-bib) that has a ponytail slit in it?

As long as you own a knife they all do. Just cut your own slit in the back.

There is this angry walrus looking thing right where the slit would go...not sure if I can cut a slit into him. (I have a waterproof h1 hood).

Isn't your ponytail going to get all snarled up in your hoses and valves?

I don't think so. I don't have any issues with my ponytail getting snagged when I dive with no hood, so I can't see why it would cause issues with a hood.

Then, why did you ask the question?

Sorry, I just realized I was in the "women's perspective".

A lady I know with a very long pony tail just uses a zippered dry suit hood. She just does not zip it up.
