Honeymoon

My fiance and I want to spend appr. 5 days on a liveaboard as part of our honeymoon. Possibly ex Phuket. We'd like a double bed, hot shower ensuite and good diving. We're both experienced! Any suggestions?

For a Honeymoon, go Philkade and splurge for the master cabin. Your soon to be spouse will be impressed and the diving is fantastic. Check out the recent post on a trip report submitted in the Thai forum by MJH.

Amen to that, but if Philkade is out of your budget (5 days master cabin = 2,480 US$ each), there are other good options - Master cabin on Queen Scuba is also very nice for example. When are you traveling?

Check out Liveaboard Diving Thailand – Scuba dive Indonesia and Thailand on luxury liveaboard dive boats, Similan diving, Andaman dive trips and dive Komodo and book on the new MV Siren. Great boat and top-notch staff. The diving will be great through April, usually. You didn't mention when you will come. Enjoy!

Try the Junk - it is cheaper at 1750 US per person for a double bed cabin en suite. It is now 5 baht to the rand. When we first came to Phuket from Cape Town it was 12 baht to the rand!!

There are cheaper liveaboards, however, The Junk is truly unique and would be the perfect setting for Honeymooners.
