I think this question has been posed before, but I'll ask again anyway. I got engaged on a dive trip to Cayman back in June, and my fiance and I are now planning our honeymoon. We're looking for high-end luxury, all (or mostly)-inclusive, seclusion, romance, etc...but with excellent shore diving as well as nearby boat dives. Money is somewhat of an issue, but our budget is quite decent. So it looks like we've settled on Fiji (we're in Arizona USA), but can't decide between Royal Davui (Beqa Lagoon area) or Turtle Island Resort (Yasawa area).

Each has its pros and cons, but I was looking for some advice from folks on the comparison. Doesn't really look like I can go wrong either way, but wanted to make sure I've heard from as many folks (and locals) as possible before booking a $$$$ "trip of a lifetime". :)

We stayed at Royal Davui on our honeymoon and the luxury/romance/seclusion is unbeatable. It's such a unique tiny little island and the villas and service are fantastic. We spent our previous week diving in Taveuni, and I would say the diving in Taveuni is much better than Beqa. The shark dive is a lot of fun, but the rest of the diving is so so there. Didn't make it out the Yasawa's but I can't recommend Royal Davui enough.

Thanks for the response shutsal. I think we're heavily leaning towards Royal Davui at this point. With the dive shop on site rather than at a different location, I think that, coupled with the Aqua Trek shark dive and the obvious luxury/seclusion, it'll probably be a better option for us. Anyone have any other thoughts?

Check out Namena, Fiji. Diving awesome. place looked ideal for diving honeymoon to me. Fwiw. Near SavuSavu and Taveuni.

have you looked at liku liku resort?
