According to La Prensa yesterday the proposed exit tax increase is not longer going to happen.
$60 would have made Honduras the most expensive exit tax in the world (I believe France would have been second at $58?). It would have been an incredibly stupid move on behalf of the government. But there's no point in trying to apply any kind of logic to these decisions. But fortunately this time it seems that someone did something.
