Hello all just wanted to ask if anyone has been seeing dogfish from their shore dives this year. I went out for a shore dive yesterday afternoon and after I swam out and decended I found myself surrounded by hundreds of dogfish. There were packs everywhere I looked. It was surreal. I would concentratre on a lobster and then I would look up and they were following me, probably looking for lobster handouts. Not sure if they ever bother divers or not, but it got my nerves going. I have never seen so many, I think the most was probably 7 or so at the poling one day. On top of that there were some baby harbor seals out too. Ended the day with 6 nice size lobster and great mental pics of swarms of dogfish.
