Enjoyed my first Hollywood shore dive mid afternoon Saturday. The sea
was up a bit but not too bad, it flattened out nicely just past the breaking
surf. I was impressed with the structure and the fish on the reef. I stumbled
upon what I believe has been called the yellow brick road, very cool area as
well as the large rock piles at end of bricks, a great dive. With a forecast of
a higher surf on Sunday I opted for an early boat dive with Parrot Island. We
had great vis and very little current on the Sea Emporer followed up by a drift dive,
two good dives.

The Sea Emporer is one of my favorites we also had excellent vis-about 80'.Went with Parrot Island also.Tried to do the same dive with them again about 3 weeks ago but the current (1 1/2 knots) was too much for the OW students so we did 2 60+ foot drift dives.

I don't know why I read these excellent reports when I'm working. It seems conditions are much better when I can't go!
Wish I could have went with ya today. Looking forward to next weekend.

Later... Marc
