Hollis SMS 50 Sport Sidemount BCD Used for 1 trip to the caves
This is a great open water sidemount rig. I used it to get training in sidemount diving and it worked quite well. Drawbacks are it only has 23lbs lift and in freshwater that's 2 alum 80's, When diving stages this BCD does not have the required lift. The second drawback is this "Sport" rig was poorly designed for overhead environments with the inflator coming over the top in tight spaces it increases your profile about 4 inches it was going to be only a few more trips and this would have failed due to getting beat up. The ad shows the tank straps which I am keeping. Never trimmed the straps it fitme 6'1" 240 with a drysuit on
