Hi Everyone

Yesterday i bought a hollis m1 mask. i tried it and i did like it but i found some problems with it. everytime i exhaled into it it felt like it wanted to come off and it moved position on my face, yes i tightened the strap. also on the silicone skirt, (the inside one) i found that the edge is slightly jaggered, this did not seem to be a problem. i was wondering if anyone else had had this on their mask or if you have had the same problem with this mask.

Any comments from people using this mask, with or without a problem would be appreciated.

Also i would be interested to know what masks people are using for technical diving.

Cheers
Craig

How much are you exhaling into it? And are you holding it with a finger or two?

What I am using for technical diving is what I am using for recreational. A Seaview low profile with my BiFocal prescription bonded to the inside.

My back up is a Scubamax frameless or Edge Stealth. I know one tech diver who uses a big old Scubamax Panoramic. Why? Because he likes it and it fits.

hi thanks for your reply, i am not exhaling anymore than normal, i think that i should not have to hold it, or altleast i have never had to with any other mask.

Are you exhaling through your nose...some divers unconsciously do this and it breaks the seal at the skirt.
