I am looking at buying a dc2 212 reg.The price is great. But I dont know much about them.I saw some post on them but has anybody used them in cold water. Thanks

Depending on the type of diving you do, get the second stage with or without the swivel, both are available. The swivel in my mind is alright, but depending on the type of diving you do. However, the swivel can not be removed if you descide to put a regular hose (Miflex or longer hose), Oceanic/Hollis uses a proprietary connection. The swivel is well suited for recreational diving, and most of the people that use really like them. Then you have people like me, who are technical divers, and need to remove the standard hose and install a 7' hose.

I have the Hollis DC3/212 as my recreational reg/stage reg, and Scubapro Mk25/A700 as my primary regs for technical regs. My Hollis reg does not have the swivel, so I use a 7' hose on my recreational reg.

The DC2/212 is exactly like the Oceanic EOS, just a different name on it. Both regs are very top performers, and well worth the money.
