Finally got open water certified today while diving in Cozumel! We dove at the Santa Rosa wall and paradise reef. The wall was absolutely amazing, we saw barracuda, an eagle ray, a sea turtle, a moray eel, and a whole bunch of other exotic fish that I cannot name.

Welcome to diving and what a fantastic place to start...Cozumel !!! Awesome diving and a rather nice place to hang out...so much to do....or NOT do... Over the past 14 years of going there...ALOT...DH and I are still comfortable and happy returning over and over... Congats to you DANflynn

Why don't you check out the Cozumel sub-forum in the geographic forums? Lots of local talk there about diving and visiting Cozumel...again and again and again.
