Hi!

I'm as new in the website as in the scuba world. Since January I have the Open Water training, I just did 6 dives.
I'm from Barcelona but I live and work in China. I always liked being in the water, but diving it's just something greater; hard to describe, I guess everybody here knows.

Since there's a lot of experienced divers here I wanted to ask if somebody can recommend me a Online Catalog of Marine fish or en e-book that I could download. I don't know much about fish but I would love to know what I see or would or could see underwater. Anything that can be useful.

Thanks a lot!!!!

Mariona!

Here are two good online references, one for fish and one for sea slugs:

Search FishBase

The Sea Slug Forum - Home Page

Here are the two best references I have seen:

Amazon.com: Reef Fish Identification - Tropical Pacific (9781878348364): Gerald Allen, Roger Steene, Paul Humann, Ned DeLoach: Books

Amazon.com: Coral Reef Fishes (9780691004815): Ewald Lieske, Robert Myers: Books

Unfortunately books like these have limited appeal and incorporate a lot of graphics, so they're not good candidates for distribution for Kindle and the like.

Hi Vladimir!

Thanks a lot!!!! The websites are amazing. About the books I'll check but I'm sure there'll be soon something readable for tabs, for a starter the websites are going to be great. Thanks again!!!! ;)

Tomorrow I'm diving again in Thailand! I'm so looking forward it!!!!

See U!

Mariona!
