Hog with Dive Rite

Anyone try matching a hog second stage with a dive rite first stage? Any issues, concerns, advice? I have a dive rite first stage, but no secondary. I did a quick search and can't find just a secondary for sale other then the octo. I'd like to put the dive rite first on a stage bottle with the hog second.

The 2 parts should work just fine together.

The dive rite RG1208 and the HOG D1 first stage are the same reg for the most part.

The D1 HOG first stage is most often what the HOG second stage gets mated to.

The only thing you need to do is to tune the 1st and 2nd to the same ip setting.

Most 1st and 2nd stages will work together, it is however a good idea to adjust the tune as jim said

Thanks, I'll go that route - I just wanted to make sure before I purchased the second. I'll have a reg tech do the assembly.
