Hey everyone, i was wondering how you all hang or store your regs, i have a tech set up so primary hose comes out the bottom port and i feel like there is alot of stress at the joint when i wrap it and lay in my bag. I borrowed my buddies reg bag but it doesnt fit well in it without stressing the hose. Can anyone tell me if there is a tech reg bag or post pictures how u store or hang ur set up. I hope u get what i mean by this

I use a plastic box with a lid for the storage and when I am hanging to dry I will support the first sage on the hanger and then look and support the second stage as well. I make sure the mouth piece is pointed down so the water can drain out. I also use flex hose so the hoses coil much easier.

For rinse/dry I just drape the regs over whatever is handy (truck bed, bbq pit, hand rail, fancy dive gear hangers when home). For storing long term or on trip, I coil them up without inducing a bunch of stress on the hoses and use some Velcro elastic band to keep them coiled. I then toss them into whatever dive bag or box of the day I'm using with all of the other gear, but closer to the top.
I think all the cute reg baggies and such are silly and overkill. Regs are pretty tough, as they should be.

As u can see the yoke converter sticks up amd wont fit in my reg bag. If i angle the yoke down in any direction there is alot of stress on the hoses. I guess i can just keep the yoke converter off. What do u all think of getting braded hoses instead.

This doesn't address your issue with boxing your gear up, but why do you have the long hose on the port on the bottom end of the swivel?

IMHO, you'll get a cleaner house routing by putting it on a side port, because when it's not deployed you can have it angled down towards your body, but when you need it, you can get complete extension that goes straight up and over to your buddy. Put your backup on the end port, so that when you deploy the long hose it doesn't impact the hose routing for the short hose. Yes, your inflator will move when you deploy the long hose, but that's not as critical.

coiled with some of these (Home Depot brand, but darn if I could find them on their site) http://www.lowes.com/pd_316746-1781-CW-T2RR25_1z0yt3h+2z8vi__?productId=3441552&Ns=p_product_qty_sales_dollar|1&pl=1&currentURL=%3FNs%3Dp_product_qty_sales_dollar%7C1%26page%3D2&facetInfo=$1%20-%20$5

there are all different sizes....

Sort of subjective. But, I like braided hoses except for when they are the long hose in sidemount or on stages/deco. I prefer rubber on those because they stay gripped in the hose retainers much better.
For storage purposes, braided will coil tighter, but not sure it's a reason to run out an swap everything.
Also, if I traced your long hose correctly, hard to tell in the pic, looks like you already have the long hose on the 5th port (bottom)
