Does anyone know if the Trident A148 LP seat will work with the HOG D1 second stages? While we are at it does anyone know if Trident has a replacement for the D1 first stage seat also. Now that the prices for HOG parts have gone up I just can't bring myself to pay the prices they want for maybe $5 worth of parts.

I don't have a direct answer, but the A148 is cheap enough that you could buy one and see. If nothing else, it will surely fit something else in your reg box or future purchase.

I ran into a similar problem with my Beuchat Evolution, and bought the A148 to see if it would work.
No. The stem is too narrow of diameter. I secured some from NESS that were not Trident [from what I could tell] and the stem was thicker. They are beige, not blue.
The A148 fits my new to me Scubapro 156 though
Good luck.

Just an update, the Trident A148 seat works just fine in the HOG second stage. Now to find a source for HP seats.
