i really need some hose routing help!! For my brand new hog first stage...
i am putting together a singles hog first stage with , hp gauge, octo around my neck, 5 ft long hose primary, bcd hose and drysuit hose:D

Do you mean a HOG brand first stage or a first stage routed according to the Hogarthian concept? For the second the hose routing will vary depending on whether you are rigging for a single tank or doubles.

For a single tank Hogarthian set up you would have the two reg hoses coming off the right side of the tank (when you are wearing it) 5' hose on the bottom. The inflator hoses come off the left side, DS whip on the bottom. The SPG comes off the left. Exactly how depends somewhat on the first stage you have and how the ports line up.

In simple terms, it goes sideways, with all the hoses coming downwards in a streamlined fashion, except the short-hose which routes sideways to the roght..

I helped a customer configure their HOG coldwater reg - Long hose (5-7') routed downwards in the right-side port (as worn), short-hose (22-24") routed from the port on the bottom (to the right), SPG (24") and LPI on the left side (upper) ports..

would it matter if the enviro seal was on bottom instead of the top, like the link from zoomer

Zoom5's link shows a Scubapro Mk25... so it doesn't really apply. The Hog routes nicer than that, because you can have it sideways.

It's more similar to an Apeks DS4...
