Periscope Film, a company dedicated to the preservation of historic U.S. Navy 16mm films, has just released a brand new DVD featuring documentary and training films about deep sea diving and scuba. The new DVD, entitled "Submarines, Frogmen and Divers" is available from Amazon.com and their website, www.periscopefilm.com

The DVD features several rare films rescued from Navy archives, including "Medical Effects of Diving", "Underwater Photography", "U.S. Navy Frogmen", "Deep Sea Diving" and more.

This DVD joins seven other DVDs from Periscope Film profiling the U.S. Navy's submarine service. One of these DVDs, "The Deep Horizon", features films of Sealab I and II.

Periscope Film has also reprinted the U.S. Navy's Deep Sea Diving Manual, which includes sections on hard hat diving and scuba. That title is available exclusively from www.periscopefilm.com
