A BP/W is not a technical rig. It's a very, very simple back inflation BC.

Call Larry at ScubaToys and talk with him about the Zeagle Brigade. Not only is it easy to pack for travel, but it has a big enough wing that you can dive cold with it.

I’m hoping to get some input on a good quality new bcd. I’m a very firm believer that you get what you pay for. I’m lucky enough to say money isn’t a problem.

I’m very new to diving and cant see myself needing allot of the things a tek wood need. But having a few extras would always be nice. I just received my atomic T2 today so ill be needing a bcd for starters.

So I plz ask that you give me some opinions on some very high end bcd`s to get me in the right direction.

I too have to jump on the BP/W Bandwagon.
The setup is as versitile as it comes.

I have used standard vest BC's and the moment I dipped below the surface with my DSS wing I knew that I would never go back to a vest again.

The thing I love the most is thatm combined with a pair of x-shorts, I can gear up to whatever I need for the situation. The wing packs up nice and tight in my luggage and I need very little weight when diving warm water.

From past posts I gather you make and sell this plate. It would be appropriate to disclose that when you plug it.

+1 for a bp/w. I just dove my new FredT plate and Oxycheq SS 45# wing in Monterey for the first time this past weekend, and it was absolutely amazing!

Zeagle is a top rated mfr who offers both soft-back and hardplate (bp/w) rear inflation BC's.

There are advantages and disadvantages to both designs. If you're traveling a lot a bp/w will pack up as nicely as a Zeagle Escape or Scout. If you're not planning on diving twin tanks or techie stuff like that you will probably get a lot more pleasure over the long term from all the creature comforts available to you in a BC like one of the Zeagle soft-back's.

They are very nice units. There are other quality mfg's out there too I'm just partial to the Zeagle brand and dive a Stiletto myself. BTW: I travel a lot too and the Stiletto up packs pretty well.

Yeah pretty much what everyone else said a Zeagle BC or BP/W. If your doing alot of travel a BP/W is a no-brainer, but do some research on which Zeagle model you choose, some of them; while being great BC's, can be a bit bulky for travel. I have a Zeagle Ranger BTW and love it.
