I’m hoping to get some input on a good quality new bcd. I’m a very firm believer that you get what you pay for. I’m lucky enough to say money isn’t a problem.

I’m very new to diving and cant see myself needing allot of the things a tek wood need. But having a few extras would always be nice. I just received my atomic T2 today so ill be needing a bcd for starters.

So I plz ask that you give me some opinions on some very high end bcd`s to get me in the right direction.

Thx to all who reply to this!!

For rec diving I suggest everyone get a backplate with a singles wing. It has nothing to do with cost just the best system made. I sell salvo and agir but they are pretty much all very similar. If you ever decided to go doubles you could get a larger wing and completely change the system up.

A lot depends on what you want to do. What type of diving do you do, what type do you expect to do and what features do you consider to be absolutely required?

SeaQuest Unlimited Pro. I have a couple of these and they are terrific.

I'm with Halthron.

First off, why pay any more than you have to for the quality you want? Nor is price very often an accurate measure of relative quality in anything I know of. Not even wine.

Second, the right BC is not the most expensive or the fanciest, but the one that fits you and your diving the best.

There are many threads about BC choices, but I'm sure there are plenty of people who would be delighted to weigh in again with their opinions, if you give them a little more information about who you are, what you've tried, and what kind of diving you envision yourself doing.

And, to my continuous amazement, not all of them will recommend a BP/W:D

Zeagle. Lifetime warranty.

Mares morphos, made by Lazy-boy I think.

I dont plane on doing any Tech diving in the near future but I do allot of traveling. And the other half of my diving is here home.
