Does anyone out there have a map for the dive sites in Higgins Lake?
Last year I found a link to a dive shop around Saginaw that had a couple of maps online, but their web page has expired:(
I guess I should have printed them when i found them.

Most of the diving on HIggins lake takes place in the area they call the AMVets Beach. I'm at a loss right now of the name of the road you take to get to the water. One thing I can tell you unless you have a boat. be prepared to do the lake higgins death march. it is a good 100 or so yards to the drop off of any shore dive. The water is Clear and lots of fish life. but not much else. A boat and some other things have been put down with no lines to each one. If you dive straight out from the pavalion at the state park. there is a small rowboat in about 20 to 25 feet of water. Take all the air you plan to use their is no where to get fills in the area the closest place is caddillac.

Parrothead,

I have a detailed Higgins Lake, North End, Amvets Beach dive site map.
However, it is in a large (470k) PDF file and Scubaboard limits those to 400k size for attachments. Drop me a PM with your email address and I will send it to you.

It shows several small wrecks off the beach with compass headings and depths.

I am pretty sure I got it from Mitten Diver here on the SB/GLWC.
Maybe he has an online link to it.
