Hello fellow divers!

Just registered my account on the board. I have been diving for 10 years (my first Bcd was a Fenzy...) and have logged my fair share of dives in various conditions (especially cold murky water alas). I am starting cmas 4* and hopefully 1* instructor in May in Greece. I am a shark lover though i remain scared each time i have seen one bigger than me (and i am 195 cm) 🐙🐠🐳🐳

I'm curious: what can a cmas 4* do? I heard a 3* is like a divemaster, so this is like an assistant instructor?

Hehe bonjour (je suis en Suisse). I am having the same discussion with my instructor about cmas 4 prerogatives...it is a murky subject it seems (just like my local water). From what i understand it is assistant instructor able to help an instructor in training both in classroom and underwater for 1* class (unsure about 2*), teach snorkling and guide certified divers. I have been diving with my 3* for ten plus years but never acted as a DM. I never got round to qualifying as a Padi divers so i dont know much.
