Hi all. Thought I'd introduce myself. I was very excited to find this forum. It appears to be an invaluable source of information. My wife and I have been diving for 2 years. We completed stress and rescue last weekend and we are celebrating by going to Cozumel for the Labor Day weekend. We will be staying at Fiesta Americana for the first time. We will only be there a few days and want to get in as many dives as possible. We have always stayed at Caribe Blue and dove withe Blue Angel. We have been very happy with Blue Angel but wanted to try a different hotel. Now I am having some concerns about the dive shop at Fiesta Americana. Is anyone familiar with the dive shop there? Should we take a taxi to dive with Blue angel?
We are also interested in doing some dives in the Gulf off the coast of Galveston but don't want to stay on a liveaboard (wife gets sea sick). Does anyone have info on any dive outfits that do day trips in the Gulf?
