Hi everyone. New to diving. Just got my PADI open water cert. Going to Cancun soon. Need oppinions on who do dive with there or cozumel or close spot. Looking forward to learning from you guys with the experience. I am from Texas, seems like a lot of divers are.

I would prefer Cozumel diving to any reef this side of Belize, but if you are booked in a Cancun hotel package, there's good diving there, too. Mostly, get a lot of dives in for the practice and learning.

I just got back from Coz a couple of weeks ago and we stayed at Scuba Club Cozumel, the place was great, diving was great, staff was great, food was great and on & on. Quick ferry ride from Cancun. We had a few people join us for a days diving from Cancun so that is an option.
