hello and welcome to the board i've heard it great diving down there my son is goin to sydney in march
There is some great diving in Sydney. Both shore and boat diving.We have a resident school of Grey Nurse Sharks on the south side of the harbour which is very popular. There are quite a few dive shops around, so your son should have no trouble organizing a dive.
Although the diving in Sydney is exellent, if you can travel 2/3 hours by car, either north or south the diving is even better. For example, Neilson Bay to the north and Jervis Bay to the south.
