Hi, im relatively new to diving. ive made 3 shallow dives in the caribbean so far and i would really like to go scuba diving here (in British columbia).
and i dont have a certificate of any kind if that matters, but im a perfectly healthy competitive swimmer with common sense. :)

Welcome to ScubaBoard!

So,the process is simple - pick a dive shop (there's one in North Van on Marine Drive), pay your $$$, take the class and get in the water!

If they offer a drysuit option for their open water class - take it, you won't regret it.

I dive dry 12 mos of the year. For the record, I dive out of Ocean Pro in White Rock, but that's quite a hike from West Van.

Let me know if you have any questions.

GO CANUCKS!:D
