Hi / How to post a new thread for gear for sale...

Hi

I am new to this site, just registered. I am liking what I see. I am trying to post some gear I have for sale but I cannot start a new post or thread in these forums it seems. The green "Start a new thread" button is inly present in this forum - the introduction and greetings forum...

Can anyone help? Am I missing something obvious?

Hi Jim,

There is a minimum number of posts required to post classifieds and you probably haven't reached that number yet. One reason this is done is so that people have a chance to "get to know you" before entering into a transaction with you. Check a different area of the board and see if the "New Post" button is visible and if you're still having a problem, click the "Report Post" button at the bottom of your post and we'll look into it further.
