Aqui Water Sports in Lauderdale-by-the-Sea is one of he very few shops that carry Deep6; one of the good things about Deep6 is they do not work primarily through middle-men with their inevitable markups. The tradeoff is you occasionally have to return something for a different size.

The stock RK3 springs were too short for me, I changed them for some Hollis which also have a nice grab tab. They made the fins comfortable with rock boots and wetsuit boots. I also changed the springs on my Diverites since it worked so well.

I had the same issue with rock boots and the RK3 fins. After replacing the big rubber protector from the spring with a simple PE hose, the problem was solved. Switching to heavy wet boots or the biber boots from my neoprene drysuit is also no problem. works well 🙂

i was looking to buy deep 6 prior to a trip to florida. I send an email to deep 6 to know where to get them. They never answer me back before my trip.

We have quite a few dealers now, I haven't checked in a while, but we've expanded a lot in the last few years.

Hey

Just sat here on the beach after diving yesterday with horrific foot pain. I brought my RK3's with me and rock boots. I've done 1500 dives with these but most drysuit with integrated boots.
This time it's almost like a squeeze I've experienced and the top of my left foot is incredibly painful. Gutted as supposed to be diving a good wreck tommorow. Anyone experienced this before?

Had the same issue recently.
I normally wear my fins with my regular warm water boots. I got a new pair of winter boots and because they're thicker, it squeezed my foot.

In your case, it could simply be a pinched nerve.
If it routinely happens, it's time to get a pair of larger fins.
