Greetings from the Southern California desert,
So I have been wanting to get certified since I was 17 and now it's 23 years later and I have finally decided to get involved in Diving. I am also going to get my 12 year old daughter involved now so she doesn't wait like the old man. I look forward to all that I will learn here on the site and to getting on with my training and getting wet!

Scubaboard is a great place to complement the information you learn in class. I am sure you will learn a great amount!
There is a SoCal forum, but there is also a Southwest forum. Both may benefit you.
